That mostly depends on your usage and habits.I don't need frontlight and it's pretty useless/garbage for me.Instead,I need a larger screen to read properly.That may seems not argumentative but if you like to read in car,go for tablet!I believe Onyx max is not good to read while lying on bed either!I liked that Max has no frontlight.That was one of the reasons I preordered it,and resisted buying nine inch and the like.The purpose of ereader is to have the same experience of the book reading without side effects on your eyes.Do you prefer reading hardcopy books in dark with flash light?
