Thank you, MGlitch, for this information, which corresponds to my intuition. However, I am looking for the letters referring to non-European languages in the names of these dictionaries so as to minimize confusion, languages such as Guarani or Tagalog or others that I am not likely to believe are on my reader and which will therefore be "fake" names for Spanish!
I can't find a list of such letters in the formula dicthtml-XX-en.zip where XX is the name of such a language which is allowed by Kobo.

Any advice on this would be appreciated.
