Understandable what you mean, but we should consider if there is interest in this technology one year span, a 2nd generation phone would come.
we have to face that a decent eink experience is possible with 6 inches for most of the avid readers, but still if you read a novel and need occasionaly just to highlight or touch the screen for the dictionary is really easy to besatisfied also with a 4.5 inches
All in all I would be pleased to have a 6.4 inches as the sony experia of some years ago, one would have
1)a decent tablet to see movies and pdf large documents in lcd
2) a decent phone 3g although a little big( you can use a super light plantronic legend, or your favorites BT headphones with vocal commands to speak)
3) a gorgeous 6.4 eink screen to read
Much more... I should not bring batteries( or at least only one), design could be gorgeous with edge technology, you would have notifications and relevant data always on without opening always the telephone( that drains further battery, and personal time if you are a busy person), the back eink could show personalized images( ..and i bet some company could think to eink color again, that means R&D in eink color from major players...),it would fit in almost every jacket, would offer added feature to eink readers customers as turn the screen to fast swype pages.
I guess would be a real traditional ereader killer

anyway let s see the market, as I am saying since ages, will be a natural bridge before of bendable eink and lcd .. that will follow in 5 years( I do not know why not know...bah

)
