Your phrasing is a bit misleading.
For authors, it is kindle select.
For readers, it is either buy at Amazon or borrow (read for free) through Kindle Unlimited.
Oh if you are new and comparing yourself to Michael Crichton, that could lead to some bad reviews if your readers don't see the comparison.
