Thank you for your work by the way, just got my kindle today and to a big part thanks to you, knc1 and Branch Delay I now truly own a capable linux e-ink device instead of just being able to use an amazon-locked e-reader
Am I correct that everything is running under the root user? I know a kindle isn't an especially security-sensitive device, but that feels wrong anyway.
