Since the security hole that allowed the 5.6.5 jailbreak to work was closed there is no way to know how long it will take for another hole to be found that can be used for such a purpose. It is more likely that someone will find a way to downgrade back to 5.6.5 to allow that jailbreak to be used before such a hole is found. So if you have the ability to help those who are looking for a way to downgrade I suggest you offer to help in that thread.
