Ah, a restful evening watching The Briar (Canadian National Men's Curling Championships.) Semifinals tonight, Alberta against Northern Ontario, and what a match! The score sounded boring (Each team taking one with hammer in each end, no blanks, no doubles, no steals.) But that totally missed how really good these two teams were. And the quality of shotmaking was simply awesome. This has been arguably best Briar field ever, with some amazing teams not making it into the playoffs. Tomorrow's final (Alberta v. Newfoundland&Labrador) should be amazing. If you're within reach of TSN, do NOT miss it.
Finished the evening up with a small Talisker Storm. Very nice.
