Another source for relatively inexpensive used Kindles is the
Goodwill Industries auction site. Most, if not all, of the various Goodwill agencies ship only to US addresses, so this isn't a universal solution. Also, they sell "As IS" with no returns, and shipping & handling costs are
never refunded, so read the descriptions carefully. Kindles are the most popular ereaders, so bidding gets more active as each listing ends.
Still, I've bought a few ereaders (and MP3 players) here and I haven't been disappointed. In fact, I just got my first Kindle there a couple of weeks ago.
