I also tend to re-read when my Overdrive holds list says "you are next in line for this title" for several books at the same time and I have no idea if this means they will all suddenly be available tomorrow, or availability might end up scattered over the next couple of weeks depending on how long the person ahead of me takes to read a book.

If I re-read something familiar during the wait, then I'm ok dropping it partway through (since I already know how it will turn out) if one or more of the new books on hold becomes available.
