The behavior is the same or similar, but the cause is unknown.
The cause may be fixable in one version and not in another.

So I would also suggest holding off until we can get some idea about what is going on.

Note:
There are 33 pages of open positions at lab126:
https://lab126.com/open-positions.htm

A large number of them 'senior' positions.

And 17 pages of them in 'software development' and 'software engineering' -
we should consider ourselves lucky these things even boot.

For the moment, we have this hint in the cvm start-up script:

But that sub-domain of lab126 does not seem to be publicly available.

But if it is a problem with garbage collection in the closed source cvm (hardware assisted, Java virtual machine) we may just have to wait until lab126 can hire someone that can solve their problem.
