Phoenix Rising, and starting on
Phoenix in Shadow. It took quite a while for
Phoenix Rising to get into the meat of the book, but once there, I quite enjoyed it and want to follow through with the rest of the series.
Meanwhile, primarily on the audiobook side, I'm in the middle of a re-read of the Vorkosigan Saga from Lois McMaster Bujold. Just finished
Memory, the book that transitions Miles from his Admiral Naismith character to his new role as Imperial Auditor. I'm really enjoying the re-read, especially since the narrator, Grover Gardner, is one of my favourites.
