Ferrets like to play with their dishes. Pushing them around and knocking them over. That's why he's got a big one. Of course he likes to take the food out and eat it by his "bed" anyways.
He, like most Ferrets, is extremely energetic while awake. And he uses that energy to explore everything in sight! Including the innards of my speaker (I had to coax him out with some food). If you get near him he'll start to prance around, and does hit and run (or rather "pounce and run") with any nearby hands. And then when Rodney finally tires himself out he likes to roll up on my lap.
