Unfortunately I can't make this happen for me. I connect to my library in OneDrive and see all the info.
Some questions:
- What version of CC are you running (CC's Settings / About will tell you)? Where did you get it, Google Play or Amazon?
- Do you see the custom columns in the top-level cloud display?
- If you see the custom columns, tap on one, tap on a value, then tap on a book. Do you see that value in the book?
- What do you see in cloud book details if you tap on Settings / Choose items to display? You should see the standard and custom column names with a check mark next to them. Are they there? If so, are they checked?

How do I reinstall CC without losing all my book information?
Although I thank you for the offer, buying the full version shouldn't change anything unless the upgrade didn't work, in which case a reinstall should fix it.
