Well, I should be able to make a better dent in my TBR pile soon. I finished editing a book that's been eating a lot of my time and mental energy, the author's got it up for preorder, and I should be able to tie off the last bits of that project when the edits for a short story come back. (I still need to build the omnibus that includes all three shorts. That'll be fun.)
Anyway, I think it may be time for something completely silly. I picked up some digital Deadpool collections for $4 each, and I've got the last volume (as in, series conclusion) of a manga series on hand, so I might hit those this weekend.
Meanwhile, I've been grinding through Perk's apps as opportunity permits... which, since I can let Perk TV run on a tablet while I work, is pretty much all the time. If I'm not using the device for anything else, I can rack up a couple of thousand points in a day. A point is worth a tenth of a cent, and earning Perk points lets me convert some of my Viggle backlog over, so on average I can snag a $25 Amazon gift card in four to six days. I've picked up a few inexpensive wishlist books with that credit, but I prefer to reserve it for Blu-rays. The important thing is that it's a way to drop my entertainment budget quite a bit.
Now, if only I could find a way to apply Amazon Visa reward points to ebooks...
