With the Audible Manager, you can load audiobooks to most MP3 players, anyway, but it is another piece of software to authorize and manage. And you depend on Audible to maintain backups (for audio, I suspect some don't download all of their books, just due to size). With DRM-Free, you can play where you want, convert formats, make backups, etc.
