Desertgrandma, I totally agree with you; it's like allowing Adolf to have a voice when Anne is silenced by copyright. Unless, that is, I go and buy the book or dig up loads of documents to prove my ID and rejoin the local library.
(I don't drive or have a recent passport, boy do I have problems proving I'm me.)
