I have just received my i86. I have to agree that it seems very nice. I have updated software to v.1.7.4 and I have the following issues.

1) I can't find the system-wide contrast/other controls that you mention. I have looked in Home/Settings and Application/Settings.

2) Do you have any idea what the icon at the top right that toggles between [+ -] and [< >] is?
