Actually, you can't blame him. He doesnt have a manual. Its on the iLiad, which he has to turn on, to be able to read, how to turn it on
And the on/of switch is well hidden next to the connector port. You dont easily recognize it a son/off switch. And even then, pressing it will probably only break the device. You have to push it to the left, and if you have large hands, you will have to ask your little neighbours kids to do it for you
But once the power management is ready you shuld almost never need to turn it on/off agein
