Since this is kind of related, I think I could post it here instead of creating a new thread. If I'm wrong, please forgive my mistake.

I'm pretty sure a long time ago, this wasn't an issue. But a few months ago I noticed that when I delete a personal document with highlights in it and download it again, the highlights aren't there (last page read does sync). Sometimes if I make a new highlight, the old ones sync up.

Now, this only happens on the Kindle (PW) itself. In the Android app that's not an issue. When I download one of my personal documents, the highlights are there.

Anyone else is having this issue? I've searched but I can't seem to find a topic with this. I wanted to know if it's "normal", or if there is a way to fix it, before I try to factory reset (maybe that would "fix" it? How likely could that be?) the device, since I'd have to do it before the OTA for the new firmware 5.7.2.1 comes, so I can jailbreak it again.

Edit: Also... related to personal documents. Is it normal that my personal documents take too long to index? I don't think there are formatting issues. And Amazon books index pretty fast. Is it "normal" (as a way to discourage us from loading non-Amazon books? :-))? I also think this started happening a few months ago.

Thanks in advance!

Edit nē: Never mind. I restored it to factory defaults (I wanted to do it anyway), jailbroke it, the OTA was installed and everything is, surprisingly, perfect. Whether it was the update or the factory reset, I don't know. I had being dealing with this for months, so I'm quite happy now.
