A few mystery authors in the Kobo US version of the sale that might be worth taking a look at, depending on how your tastes run. As Lynx-lynx said though, mostly pretty slim pickings. And, sadly most of the ones to my taste I already have, but that's the way it goes. Anyway, here's my odd-ball list of what I'd get if I didn't already have them (and two I did get).
(Not providing links, since they are all accessible via the sale link a couple of posts above; prices before the 30%)
A Witness Above by Andy Straka is the first in his Frank Pavlicek series and was a finalist for a bunch of awards when it came out. $4.99
Blanche Among the Talented Tenth is the second of four books in the Blanche White series by Barbara Neely. This series has never made it to the top of my TBR pile, but I have a girlfriend who liked it back in DTB days. $4.99
The Thames River Murders is the latest in the Captain Lacey historical series by Ashley Gardner (pen name for Jennifer Ashley or vice versa???). I am quite fond of this series, and bought this title when it came out not too long ago. $2.99
Lover Man is the first in the three-book-short Artie Deemer series by Dallas Murphy, although it maybe should be called the Jellyroll series since Deemer lives off his dog Jellyroll's appearances in commercials. $3.99
Ice Blue is the first in the Anthony Hetheridge/Kate Wakefield series by Emma Jameson, another series I'm quite fond of (so, of course, I already have it). $3.99
Sleeping Dog is the first of two titles featuring Serendipity Dahlquist and Leo Bloodworth, by Dick Lochte. It won a Nero award and was a finalist for a bunch of others. I think I might try this one, especially since it's set in Los Angeles, where I live. $4.99
The Juan Doe Murders is the third of three Samantha “Smokey” Brandon books by Noreen Ayres - also set in southern California, this time in Orange County. I've read and liked the first two in this series, so will give this one a try. $2.99
Sweets Galore is the sixth Samantha Sweet title by Connie Shelton. I've not read any of these, but another girlfriend, who lives in New Mexico where these are set, has read a few and liked them. $4.99
Anyway, JMTCW...
