I haven't had an issue connecting it to Calibre, and getting it to recognize it, but I can't move books except through calibre companion. Calibre says they are there, and ES shows they are there, but they don't show up in kindle."
I recently got a Fire and added a 64mg SD card. I intended to load the books on the card. The books loaded ok and I could see and open them from ES File I couldn't open from the home or book page.
I contacted Amazon and was told that I couldn't read the books if they are on the SD card
I could only read them on the main memory.
I'm glad I didn't overspend on the card. Not much use if you can't load books to it and read them from the card
