Yeah. The whole, "paying for the privilege to buy" thing is nonsense. The free shipping and Prime Video alone are worth the price of admission to me (and I don't order all that much anymore).
I don't always buy from Amazon, but I do check there first. I'm almost always going to go with the "fulfilled and shipped by Amazon" security blanket, though, if the cheaper option is someone I've never done business with before (and the savings are meager).
I'm not a brainwashed idiot. Prime saves me money and I'm getting more than enough value out of my admission price for it. I'll drop it as soon as I can't say that anymore. People need to stop implying that Prime members are somehow being tricked into paying for something that has no real value.
