Okay, looking at the current download for the DX 2.5.8 (S.N. B004), the internal datestamps vary from 2010 all the way to 2015-04-20

Somehow I thought that firmware was older...

...

Which leads to the question -- given that Amazon releases incremental updates (for devices as old as this), how exactly are these supposed to work?
