@patrik - I find these very useful for narrowing a search, they're also available via book list context menu Similar Books flyout - so an Alt+A will get you all books by the author of the current (selected) book

You can also limit the columns used in searching, see Preferences->Searching->What to search by default settings, Comments is one that many folks prefer to exclude
