Just finished "Coroner's Pidgin", by Margery Allingham. The 12th book in the "Campion" series. It's 1944, and Campion returns home from three years engaged in secret activities on the Continent to discover his manservant, Lugg, depositing a corpse in his flat. This unusual circumstance embroils Campion in a slightly far-fetched plot involving a Nazi plot to steal British art treasures. Great fun, and highly recommended provided you don't take it too seriously.
