calibre does not do syncing of last read info, but if you thought you needed calibre you should have posted in the calibre forums.
Not to worry, though -- your question belongs here.



Simply copy over the entire contents of the "documents" folder from one Kindle to the other.
It will preserve your current page, bookmarks, highlights, and notes.

As for the order of the books in Recent(ly opened) view, I believe that information is stored in the system partition ( /var/local/cc.db ).
