So, they decided to let pbooks actually be special snowflakes...
...at least as far as shipping goes.

The timing is odd--what with fuel prices trending down and the several initiatives they are ramping up to do a lot of their shipping themselves.

It does seem like a push to get more shoppers to sign up for Prime...but Prime doesn't need much pushing for repeat customers. Even at $35 the math argued for subscription.

Could be a move to pacify stockholders worried about their rising shipping costs...
