I don't think it's because it is the first in the series as the download doesn't go near the series page. The log I have shows that the first five or so books in the search results are processed to get the full details. These are passed back to calibre to decide what to do. So, I think it's something to do with the similarity of the titles and how calibre handles the books. But, that probably means I am not passing the results back correctly.
