It's funny, but one of my "projects" that I've been procrastinating forever over is to replace the dull, brass numbers and odd, foot-square "tile" hung on the front wall with a large mosaic possibly based on one of my photos (and including our house number). We have to get a new letter box first though, as our letter box is in the middle of that wall.
I've never done it (mosaic) before though, so I'll have to do some reading.
