That does seem reasonable. Amazon are generally pretty good at "like for like" pricing in different regions. Taking VAT into account, all the recent UK Kindle releases have been the same price as in the UK, to within a few $.

I hadn't realised that the Canadian $ had weakened so much. When I was last in Canada, some years ago, it was on a par with the US$.
