Goal: 2 platforms running simultaneously one a working library, the other hosts the overflow books. I am tired of creating new libraries on my hard drive just to see what is on them.

You can View any library on any device using portable.
You just cant make it REMEMBER where the are/were
(which can hinder moving books with Copy to Library)
