Or someone tweaked the calibre's View->View specific format->Open EPUB With to reference edit-ebook.exe.

Or someone unchecked EPUB from the Preferences->Behaviour->Use internal viewer for list and used Windows Open With to associate EPUB with ebook-edit.exe.

'T' and 'V' are not readily mis-keyed.
