The folder is full of books but calibre isn't recognizing so I uninstalled it and deleted everything but even the welcome book is gone and now I have nothing. How do i get the books over. TIA

update: I changed the location of the folder and all the files got in Calibre but the covers were gone
Also, I am running windows 10 if that means anything. Thank you

This is the error that I get when I try to import the books:
calibre, version 2.51.0

Forget (Calibre) IMPORT

This is one of the few cases where under the skirts operation can be carefully performed

All you had to do was COPY the entire OLD Library folder CONTENTS
and TOTALLY replace the NEW (empty Library) folder contents

DO NOT MIX two Libraries together, even if 1 is broken that folder must be empty. If it is not, Delete the contents (usually, 2 files), they will be replaced by the Library matching, good versions
