Agreed. I just got one, and cursed loudly. However... I have a PW1 with the last working version of ixtab's hyphenation patch. On upgrade, that'll stop working -- but if all they're updating is an auth server IP and cacerts, is there any reason why we can't install that *ourselves* (assuming we knew what to install) and retain the ability to hyphenate in periodicals and .mobis as well as the ability to connect to Amazon?
