I too wish there would be a modern reasonably priced 10 inch (or 12 inch
) e-ink device. But it seems the large e-ink screens are much more fragile and expensive, and the general public is content with the smaller 6 inch screens. I guess for PDF the new Samsung 12 inch tablets (and the big Apples) are the way to go.
Anyway, the upgrade path up to 3.3 was actually quite easy to do. It is only the last versions that prove challenging for me. Hopefully someone will repackage these updates into something more manageable.
But I think I will also be content with what I have now, and use the Kindle Store via PC and tablet like you say. Cheers.
