I agree it's a self-pub, that doesn't however make it fake. There are Phoenix Rising Enterprises, Inc's in multiple states and a lot of self-pub authors, especially some of the more successful ones (Marie Force & Bella Andre come to mind at first thought) have incorporated their publishing business for various reasons.

In this case this particular instance of Phoenix Rising Enterprises Inc. was incorporated in California by Kathia Zolfaghari (aka Kate Perry) in 2012.

I get that it can be misleading in that someone might think it's a full blown publishing house with multiple authors, but it's not fake or somehow not legit.



What I really kind of hate are the authors self-pubbing their backlist and trying to pass them off as being published by their old publishers.
