Nothing to do with Android file systems nor with Moon Reader in particular.
I can create a folder and file names with apostrophe, etc. but Moon Reader does not like it...
I think your first answer (boolean stuff) was bull eyes but this would be for the developer to fix. If he ever look at his emails
