I'm a newbie here, but trying to understand what was written in this thread. And everything looks fine for me, I'm going to jb my new PW3 (kindlefere). Still, there's few things I don't understand:
1. the update; I know, that I can go to 5.7.2.1 after jb - can I do it by "update your kindle", or do I have to do that by another method ?
2. do I need to worry about future updates, that can make me any problems because of Amazon politics?
3. I know that I can come back to "clear" Kindle; without JB, and if I understand it well, I don't loose my warranty. If it's all true, can you tell me how (or link the thread I can't find)?
4. the last one: internet connection and amazon account. Most important functionality in kindle is that I can use dictionaries and wikipedia. I'm not sure, but somewhere I've found something about problems with this after jb. I was looking for 'fake account' informations and also found sth about problems with it on newest update. Can you tell me, if I will loose any functionality after jb? Where can I find some more (actual) info about internet connection/amazon account/aeroplane mode/fake account (and when do I need it)?
Sorry for the lenght of this post, it's just because of brainstorm in my head after reading this forum as a newbie.
