Ahah yes that happens to me too from time to time, but in those ghost book cases I'm sure they're in no collection, I have checked. They are nowhere to be found. I'm not sure it would do it for every book and am not really willing to try because if all my books turn to ghosts it won't be fun
Maybe it happens only with the books that were in my kindle before the update? I should delete them all and put them back in the Kindle and see what happens.

It's not the only weird thing that happens with my kindle, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's an uncommon problem. (There are also idiosyncrasies with the page overview thing, since the update that brought the bookerly font, and I've never seen anyone else have that bug. Factory reset didn't change a thing)
