Yes, it will show up on the Mac some day, hopefully soon.
I tried supporting the clipping data of Kindle for PC/Mac, however it's encrypted and not readable. If you want to Kindle Mate to import such data, you have to manually clip or highlight one by one and one more time on the Kindle after synced from those apps by amazon.
