You may notice I said "should" and that
I mentioned this concern myself a few pages ago.
In the case of these fixtures, the hope is that they're even better made than the cheaper bulbs, and they certainly have more room to include proper heat-sinks, etc, and if they do fail, well, they are not that much more expensive than the bulbs anyway, and you're paying for the nice styling and integrated look, and man, this is about the longest sentence I've written in a while!
