As far as I can tell I have the same model (Energy_eReaderProP according to Settings / eReader info). I am running version 3.0.0B. The "kernel version" is Energy_eReaderProP_2016011214. The "build number" is Energy_eReaderProP_V2.0.0_2016011214. My settings screen has "Volume keys setting" not "Volume side keys function setting", and it offers only "close" and "open".

It will be moderately difficult to make changes if I cannot test them. That said, I will look at it.
