That is a question we haven't heard here before.

Being a first, I have to do a bit of guessing. . . .

Reading powerpoint documents is usually something that the browser does.

Maybe one of our alternative browsers can do that, I am not sure.
Perhaps one of the people using either our skipstone or midora (or other) browsers can say if they support powerpoint.

I don't recognize any of those having been built for the Kindle.

Although we haven't built LaTex for the Kindles, it is probably possible, so maybe this one could be made to work:

(Probably, getting the debian build of LaTex to run on the Kindle would be easier than building it.)

Keep in mind -
You aren't going to get Audio and/or Video inserts to work on the pw-1 - lack of required hardware.
