I agree that this is something Kobo owners can't do and they have to use KSM to launch Koreader. However, I can't help thinking (and bothering) that the alluded "automagics" only takes place for jailbroken devices. This is quite significant.
Though on a different technical level, this is also a permanent, major and distinct
feature that's worth signalling.
I think it would be more informative to change in the
features list of the wiki at the line "native system integration", the sentence: "
supported on Kindle devices" by the following one "
supported on Kindle already jailbroken* devices".
* and only as long as the jailbreak keeps working following changes of firmware versions
