If it's a promotional credit, you should be able to use it for ebooks that are sold by Amazon. Unfortunately you can't check to see if it would because 1click sucks since you can't see how you are charged until after you are charged.

Why were your digital credits changed to promotional credits if I may ask? In the US digital credits can't be used on big publisher books. We used to be able to use them and this change happened with no warning here. I wonder if they are doing the same thing in the UK.
