I sent in a couple of complaints to CS here at Amazon germany. The usual reply is as follows (quoting from my mind):

Thanks for contacting the CS. We are very sorry to hear about the issues you have with your Kindle.

We would like you to do the following steps:

1) Please reset your Kindle and see whether your issues with it are gone.
2) If issues still exists please reset your Kindle to factory state and see whether your issues with it are gone.

In any case, we are open for further conversation and wish you a nice day.
None of the complaints I sent in had anything to do with the replies I received by CS.
