Check the kTerm thread, there is a build of libpng12 and directions on what to do with it posted.
I think there is also a recent build of the calculator and chess program that fixes that error on the author's web-site.
There must be another type of error in the gameboy installation.
Give us a step-by-step of what you did and with what result at each step.
