Hi,
First things first, thanks to Branch Delay and other members of MobileRead for the jailbreak!!! (and for your support)
I would like to do a check with you, and ask for some help:
- I have a PW2 9017, 5.6.5, Spanish. I have run the jb, and on the second attempt just being more patient) I got the OK.
Then I've installed the Update_jailbreak_bridge_1.14.N_install.bin, and got the OK as well.
But when I try to install update_rescue_pack_20150705_install.bin "update my kindle" is grayed out, and the bin is removed.
Same problem with Update_usbnet_0.21.N_install_pw2_kt2_kv_pw3.bin
What am I doing wrong?
- Despite the OKs gotten, I've realized that I had not done a factory reset. So:
. was the factory reset really required? If yes, why I have had a positive answer?
. my problem with the RP has to do with not having done the factory reset?
. and in any case, what should I do to install it?
