I just Jailbroke my Kindle PaperWhite 2 (S/N 90D4 2204 ...).
To host the files myself, without setting up DNS, I followed
these simple steps (using the script
create_ap and the command # python2 -m SimpleHTTPServer 80 to serve the files).
