Managed to get it to work through "kindlefere.com/jb", as my old computer apparently has an Adapter that can't host (It complained to no end about not being able to enter "Master" mode, and the little bit of Googling I did pointed toward it being a hardware limit to the adaptor, rather than something I could fix).

EDIT: Umm... does anyone know why I've suddenly got 2016606 displayed as my Karma count ? I suspect it's a bug of some kind, but it stays even if I refresh the page or log out, so it must be on the system.
